WHAT I DO TO SURVIVE THE STORY BEHIND IT
Maken it on Wall St.
and I’m not talking about making money, I’m talking about making a music video. What a wild thing to do! People in this city are amazing. It’s remarkable how you can stroll through the streets of the most powerful economic machine of the world in a suit and tie, strumming a guitar and singing your songs with people all around you and no one and I mean no one cares what you’re doing. Let alone being followed by a film crew, and no one even cares if they’re in it or not.
Even got to tip the cab driver 20 bucks and he let me drive his car.
It was a fun time, and I really fun video to make. I wrote the song about a friend I had that drove every day up to Wall Street to work.
Made me reflect how each one of us has something that they have to do to survive.
